Juices are a traveler’s best friend. They’re energizing, refreshing, filling yet light, healthy, quick and easy to make. It’s an easy way make to sure make you get your daily intake of vegetables and fruits and keep hydrated. Have a juice for breakfast, for a snack, before or after a long adventure, there’s never a wrong time for juice.
Environmental Note: Please refrain from using plastic straws or plastic cups. You can use a paper, aluminum or glass straw, or better yet, drink your juice directly from your glass like a grown up.
Nutritional Note: eating a fruit has more nutritional benefits than drinking its juice. But, bringing fruits with you on the road can be bulky, messy and heavy. So juice when it’s too impractical but if and when you can, eat a fruit rather than juicing it.
